Meet the ambitious 19 year old Victor Germanus, a rising young talent born in Amsterdam who only started pursuing his love for music since fall of last year, but has since gained a total of 15.000 followers across social media with a combined half a million views on his videos, while also having played on one of the biggest stages in Ireland, at the National Arena in Dublin. 

Though Victor had always had a huge passion for music, it was only during the pandemic in 2020 that he started writing, recording and producing his own songs from his bedroom, inspired by artists such as Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran, Noah Kahan, and Dean Lewis. Using his acoustic guitar and piano, he creates variations of down-to-earth power ballads, ranging from the smallest love songs to the biggest productions that would fit at Eurovision. Nowadays he writes and records his acoustic pop songs (majority in english) inside The Wisseloord Studios, the biggest studio of the country, working hard to release a string of independent singles leading up to his first professional EP.

AMSTERDAM/THE RELEASE SHOW

His concert here at the Parlour is a very special one for him, since it will not only be a full original show containing all his songs and a live supporting band, but also the release show/party for his first new single “AMSTERDAM (WEETJENOGTOEN)” since pursuing his music. This highly anticipated song is to this day, strangely enough, one of the very few Dutch songs he has written, but one that's instantly loved by the public during his shows and frequent live streams on TIKTOK.

 “Without the reaction from the fans, this song would’ve for sure never been released”, Victor says. But thanks to the love for this song, it has now turned into one of his favorites and therefore his first big release. It’s his dream to one day play in Amsterdam in a sold out show at Ziggo Dome, but for now there’s nothing more special for him then playing and celebrating the release of this song (finally) with the people that loved it from day one, from the first verse he wrote.
