About the event
Music Madness is BACK thanks to PARLOUR AMSTERDAM!
Originally a collaboration between Butchers Tears Brewery and Paul Manwaring, the concept was to give fresh, local singer songwriters Paul found at various open mics in Amsterdam an opportunity to perform longer sets and record their live sessions. Since its inception in December 2022, over 20 up and coming artists have been featured, with several growing their audience through this exposure to the point of releasing singles and EPs.
This Music Madness event at PARLOUR AMSTERDAM features:
Sjoerd Rensma — This indie rock artist has been writing his own music for about a year now, experimenting with interesting guitar parts and lyrics. Currently he has no music recorded but hopes to get some out soon. In the meantime you can find and follow him on Instagram sprig.brick: https://www.instagram.com/sprig.brick/
Lutsa Horváth — Hungarian singer songwriter Lutsa Horváth embraces traditional Eastern European Folk music and fuses it together with her own wicked brand of magic to enchant us with her dark sense of humour and passion. Her songs range in character and topic from quirky to downright scary but all take us on a journey to explore the mystery of her unique, sensual art. https://www.instagram.com/lutsasvoice/
Paul Redleg — Dutch singer/songwriter returned to Amsterdam after living in London for 35 years. There he played with and wrote songs for the Tipsy Gypsies and The Honkytonk Twins. These days he performs solo singing a selection of his repertoire on acoustic guitar and mouth harmonica. A mixture of songs steeped in Folk & Roll and Country Blues. First amongst equals second to none.
