King Forward Records presents an evening of folk crying out loud with Ryan Gebhardt (US) and Jacob D. Edward (NL).

You’d be hard-pressed to find a songwriter like Ryan Gebhardt. The American artist crafts his laid-back sound with remarkable skill, effortlessly blending folk, country and indie pop. With similar ease his singles become playlist hit wonders. But what truly sets him apart is his astonishing productivity: since 2016, he has released a new full length every single year. On 7 November he releases his new EP Light In You. This show in PARLOUR Amsterdam on 15 November is his first Amsterdam show date.

Ryan’s support act during this evening is Jacob D. Edward. He calls himself ‘a slide projector of thought-provoking images and emotions, both autumnal and soothing’. De Volkskrant reviewer Menno Pot called him multi-faceted and gave his debut album a 4-star review. He is without doubt one of the Netherlands’ most promising songwriters of the moment.
