Join us September 1st for a kick-off party celebrating the beginning of the residency of Jam With Humans at PARLOUR AMSTERDAM! Shows! Workshop! Jam! All free (donations appreciated)

We'll kick-off with the first Sunday Music Improvisation Workshop of the school year, starting at 14:00 sharp (ending at 17:00)

And then, starting at 18:30 and ending much later, we'll have a party featuring live shows! Here is the programme:

• BEYOND THE JAM - a conversation about music - that day's theme will be community and will feature the special guest Lincoln Lim (the person behind PARLOUR AMSTERDAM)

• DANIEL LIVE COMPOSES - our own Daniel (by night) will be composing brand new music for right in front of your eyes, which will also be performed in real-time by the Jam With Humans Orchestra

• MYSTERY DUOS - this is the participatory part: all musicians who'd like to improvise can register by putting their name in a hat - pairs of musicians will then be picked randomly and get to perform an improvised duet for our audience

• And finally, our DJ friends at the SONIC TONIC COLLECTIVE will be giving us some sick beats and groovy riffs for the after-party!
