In the noisy chaos of city life, where squealing trains, barking dogs, and endless conversations leave many feeling overwhelmed, A SONIC OASIS offers a creative escape.
This innovative music ensemble crafts immersive, blindfolded sound experiences designed to help you feel the transformative effects of sound within your body. Featuring Maia Steinberg (voice and other instruments) alongside saxophonist David Bello Arcos, the ensemble combines operatic voice, loop stations, and unique instruments such as saxophone, singing bowls, steel drum, and percussion, among others. They create experimental scores that brings audiences through a deeply sensory journey.
At the heart of A SONIC OASIS is its connection with the audience, using surrounding soundscapes to guide listeners into a deeper connection with their sense of listening. So just lie/sit down, close your eyes, and let the sounds do the rest.
